Parts of the building are believed to date back to the medieval period, with surviving historic timber framing alongside later alterations and Victorian additions.
Today, those different periods of the building's past remain visible throughout the location.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
No two nights inside The Old Vicarage are the same.
Across the building, investigators and visitors have reported unexplained footsteps, voices, shadow figures, doors moving or slamming, unusual sounds and sudden changes in atmosphere.
From the basement and hallways to the stairwell and kitchen, you'll have the night to explore the building, use your own equipment and investigate the reported activity for yourself.
But the building isn't the only thing waiting for you...
ENTER THE VAULT
Your investigation also includes access to The Vault — our collection of reportedly haunted and unusual items, each with its own story and reported activity.
Investigators can spend time around the collection, conduct experiments and see whether any of the items produce an experience of their own.
MEET BOB THE CLOWN BOY
Among the items housed inside The Vault is Bob the Clown Boy, a reportedly haunted doll with a history in the UK paranormal community.
Previous reports surrounding Bob include claims of unexplained movement, including his legs appearing to move or swing without explanation.
Bob was previously investigated while in the care of The Haunted Hunts and now resides permanently inside The Vault at The Old Vicarage.
During your investigation, you'll have the opportunity to spend time with Bob and make up your own mind.

All paranormal activity described above is based on reported experiences and claims. Paranormal phenomena have not been scientifically established, and activity during an investigation can never be guaranteed.

Your booking gives your group a private investigation of The Old Vicarage from 8 PM until 8 AM.
Bring your own equipment, investigate in your own way and explore the building at your own pace.
The Daily Detour Paranormal will remain onsite throughout the investigation for safety and assistance, but the night is yours to investigate.

BEFORE YOU BOOK
Please read the following rules before booking your investigation.
✓ All attendees must be 18 or over
✓ Maximum 5 investigators per booking
✓ No alcohol or illegal drugs
✓ Respect the building, its contents and all areas you are given access to
✓ Keep all areas clean and tidy
✓ Filming and photography are welcome
✓ The Daily Detour Paranormal will remain onsite for safety and assistance
✓ Paranormal activity can never be guaranteed
✓ Every person attending must complete their own individual investigation waiver after the booking has been confirmed
The Old Vicarage is a shared working building. Other authorised tenants and unit owners retain access to the building and may occasionally enter during your investigation.
This is uncommon, but somebody may need to enter to collect or return equipment, which could cause a brief disturbance to your investigation.
As other authorised occupants retain access to the building, The Daily Detour Paranormal cannot guarantee this will not occur.
By booking an investigation, you acknowledge and accept this possibility.
