After the intense activity captured in Part 1, we continued our investigation inside The Old Vicarage in Wakefield — and the night only got stranger. Exploring deeper into the building, including the basement and surrounding rooms, we continued using a range of paranormal equipment to try and understand what might still be present inside this historic location. Some of the responses we received throughout the night were hard to ignore, and a few moments genuinely left us questioning what was happening around us. This location has not been properly investigated in over a decade, and if what we captured across both parts is anything to go by… The Old Vicarage may still be holding onto something. This Place Hasn't Been Investigated In Over 7 Years… Until Now | The Old Vicarage
Tonight we stepped inside one of Wakefield’s most intriguing historic buildings — The Old Vicarage. A location rich with history, mystery, and stories that haven’t been explored for over 10 years. This investigation was something truly special. Not only did we capture some incredible moments, but this could also mark the beginning of opening this historic building up to future paranormal investigations and experiences. Throughout the night we explored multiple areas of the building, including the basement, hallways and historic rooms, using a range of paranormal equipment to see if anything was still lingering within the walls. What happened next honestly surprised us. The investigation produced so much activity that the footage had to be split into two parts, because we simply couldn’t fit everything into one video. The Daily Detour is proud to be the first paranormal team in over a decade to investigate inside The Old Vicarage — and if what we captured is anything to go by… this place may still have stories left to tell.

The Overnight Stay That Wasn’t Supposed to Happen / Rogerthorpe Manor
We stayed overnight at Rogerthorpe Manor — one of West Yorkshire’s historic hotels with a long-standing paranormal reputation. After last-minute cancellations and bad weather changed our plans, we documented what really happens when you spend the night inside. In this episode of The Daily Detour, we explore the history and folklore of Rogerthorpe Manor, from reports of footsteps in empty corridors to guests describing the feeling of being watched late at night. This isn’t about provoking activity or forcing something to happen. It’s about staying still, listening, and documenting honestly.
