The Daily Detour Collection
A growing catalogue of objects retained due to reported history, unexplained behaviour, or irregular physical change.
About the Collection
The Daily Detour Collection is a developing catalogue of objects recovered from various locations.
Items are retained where their history, behaviour, or condition cannot be easily explained.
The purpose of this collection is documentation, observation, and preservation.
Object 001 Rosary (Fragmented)
Recovered during a private visit to 30 East Drive in 2024, this partially intact rosary became associated with a series of unusual events reported over an extended period of time. Initially found separated despite showing no visible damage, the object later appeared intact again without explanation. Following its removal from the original location, it was reportedly found misplaced and later rediscovered on multiple occasions across two separate residences, with the beads gradually disappearing over time until only the crucifix remained. After a lengthy absence, the crucifix reportedly reappeared in plain view on 14 April 2026. Due to the repeated nature of the reported incidents, some believe the object may carry an attachment, though no conclusion has been reached and the cause of the events remains unknown. The object currently remains in possession and under observation, with all reports remaining entirely anecdotal.
Object 002 Female Doll (entity unknown)
Recovered from an antique shop following a visit in which Carl repeatedly found himself drawn back to the same area of the store, this vintage doll later became part of the collection after he described experiencing an unusual feeling whenever near it, alongside a strong sense that he was being encouraged to take the doll home. Following its acquisition, a basic investigation was carried out using the Necrometer application, which produced the responses “Laura” and “Child Spirit” during direct questioning. While opinions remain divided regarding the authenticity and reliability of such applications, the responses were considered notable enough to document. Although “Laura” has since remained within the collection, there are mixed opinions between Scott and Carl as to whether the doll carries any genuine spiritual presence or attachment. At this time, no conclusions have been reached, and further investigation is required.
